Thanks to TUI, one of the leading travel agencies and flight carriers in Europe, we now know which European destinations offer the best value for money for early summer 2024, or more specifically, which holiday packages are the most appealing.
Including an all-inclusive stay in Spain’s trendiest island and the cheapest resort town in the Mediterranean, these are the top 4 picks this month:
Tenerife, Canary Islands For Only $237
One of TUI’s most popular getaway deals in the lead-up to summer, a 4-night stay at the Globales Suneo Tamaimo Tropical, a modern resort within walking distance of Tenerife’s trendy Playa de la Arena, costs a surprisingly affordable $237 to book within the next few weeks, all-inclusive.
To the best of our knowledge, it is the cheapest resort in the tout-compris category in Europe this season, with 5 swimming pools on-site, plenty of sunbathing areas, comfortable rooms and a wide, though not luxurious, variety of food and drinks.
The hotel is located a short half-hour drive from Tenerife South, the main international airport serving the island, in the development area of Puerto de Santiago, and like any package holiday booked with TUI, resort transfers are included.
Other than relaxing within resort premises, guests are invited to explore the rugged beauty of this Canary Island, famous not only for its affordable all-inclusives but mainly for its verdant forests, volcanic peaks, and endless miles of unspoiled golden sands.
Kavos, Greece For $233

The lesser-known Greek island of Corfu, surrounded by the turquoise-colored Ionian Sea, is home to the peaceful seaside village of Kavos, famous for its long sand-and-pebble beachfront and affordable stays.
As an option for May, TUI agents have listed a 4-night stay at the small but cozy Lefkimi Hotel, equipped with its own pool and a 10-minute drive from the village itself.
It’s no five-star resort, but guests are equally offered free internet and a delicious Mediterranean-style breakfast.
Booking ahead of the peak travel season costs $233, it’s the perfect spot for basking in the sun and soaking up Greek culture while keeping tabs on your expenses.
In addition to the myriad of beaches nearby, the historic Monastery of the Blessed Virgin Mary is not far from Lefkimi Hotel.
Other attractions on the island include Corfu Town, its beautiful capital characterized by a pastel-colored cityscape dominated by two Venetian-built fortresses, the crystalline-water Paleokastritsa Beach in the north, and the triad of quaint hilltop villages Spartilas, Strinilas, and Sokraki.
Mallorca, Spain For $341
Up next, TUI’s own Suneo Lagomonte in Mallorca is offering all-inclusive, five-night packages from only $341.
Straddling the Minor Lake area of Alcudia, a laid-back resort town in the north of the island, it has spacious family rooms, an outdoor pool, and a wellness center.
Tourists love this hotel for its proximity to several of northern Mallorca’s points of interest, including the city of Alcudia itself, surrounded by 14th-century walls and oozing ancient charm, the Roman ruins of Pollentia, the Hidropark, and Albufera National Park.
As for beaches, there are several natural swimming sites within a 2 to 5-mile radius of the property, with the landmark Playa de Alcudia, one of Mallorca’s best-frequented, Playa Pollensa and Cala Castell to name a few, all bordered by teal-colored seas.

One of the top-rated four-star listings in the Mediterranean’s cheapest resort strip, Club Candan is a self-catering hotel in Turkiye featuring a lagoon-style pool, kid-friendly waterslides, and a casual poolside restaurant, with 4 nights averaging a negligible $282.
Guests are treated to sumptuous Turkish breakfasts every morning and barbecues and belly-dance performances in the evenings, and there’s never a shortage of exciting activities to fill their days, seeing it is a stone’s throw away from a beach and a 10-minute walk to Marmaris.
Marmaris is a culturally-charged harbor city with a preserved Old Town and castle, and it’s one of the more off-beat nightlife spots in the wider Turkish Riviera, with plenty of entertainment venues lining the lively marina and a surprisingly liberal party scene.
The city is particularly known, however, for its cheap prices—meals in inexpensive local restaurants cost ten bucks on average—and its Ancient Greek heritage: for the odd Hellenophile out there, there are even one-hour ferries connecting Marmaris to the Greek island of Rhodes.

Summers in Europe are not exactly known for being affordable, with tried-and-true holiday spots like Barcelona, Santorini, and Amalfi all ranking among some of the most expensive destinations.
